Yarham Yunus
He is currently the Financial Controller of Kumpulan Modal Perdana. He is also in charge of monitoring the Company’s investments portfolio in China and ASEAN region.
He joined MTDC Private Equity Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTDC, when the Company was incorporated to centralise all of the venture capital and private equity activities under the MTDC Group. During his tenure at MTDC, Yarham was also involved in the formation of a Penang-based venture capital company, BTVC Sdn Bhd.
He later joined BPMB-NIF Modal Teroka (BPMB-NIF), a joint venture between Bank Pembangunan & Infrastruktur Malaysia Berhad and Nippon Investment & Finance, Japan. Prior to joining MTDC, Yarham began his career with Standard Chartered Bank.
Yarham holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Wisconsin, U.S.A and MBA in Venture Capital from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Herman Syah Abdul Rahim
Herman Syah Abdul Rahim, 46, is a Principal/Senior Vice President at Kumpulan Modal Perdana, an MOF-owned venture capital management company.
He has over 23 years of working experience in the financial industry, with more than 20 years of private equity & venture capital investment, monitoring and private equity & venture capital fund management experience. Vast investment experience in various sectors such as technology, healthcare, food & beverage, light manufacturing, renewable energy, green technology, education, retail/services, etc.
He started his career in private equity & venture capital as a pioneer team member of the private equity arm of CIMB Investment Bank, where he gained Malaysia & Southeast Asian experience in investing and managing private equity funds. During his tenure with CIMB, he was seconded to Navis Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in direct equity investments in growth, buyouts, recapitalizations, and financial restructurings in Asian enterprises, and was also seconded to Banyan Ventures, a venture capital company with focus on telecommunications, media and web-based solutions. He later joined private equity arm of Kuwait Finance House Malaysia, where he was actively involved in investing & managing private equity funds focusing on investments in Southeast Asia, China & India, before joining Proventeus Capital, a Southeast Asia-focused private equity firm based in Malaysia as an Investment Director. He has served as member of the board of directors of portfolio companies under his purview.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) (C.A.(M)).
Lee Hui Ni
Hui Ni joined KMP in 2013 and has accumulated over 18 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate finance and being an entrepreneur herself. She is responsible for the entire investment operations in KMP including deal structuring, execution and monitoring as well as investment processes. She has also taken on advisory roles to numerous startups/growth companies.
Prior to KMP, she was part of the private equity team at Kuwait Finance House which manages a Shariah fund focusing on investments in South East Asia as well as China and India. Under her portfolio, she was particularly responsible for managing investments in the healthcare, aquaculture and hospitality sector which includes deal execution, restructuring, monitoring right up to exit. She was also previously in the Corporate Finance division of AmInvestment Bank Berhad where she was originating and executing equity capital market deals. Hui Ni holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Melbourne, Australia and is a member of CPA Australia.
Wan Mohd Zahidi Wan Zakwan
Wan joined KMP in 2024 as Vice President of Investments. He is responsible for managing the investment operations and processes in KMP.
Wan started his career as an equity analyst at an investment bank. He then moved on to corporate development at a public listed company. Prior to joining KMP, he assisted SMEs in corporate advisory and fundraising.
He majored in Physics, holding a Bachelor of Science from University of Melbourne with a First Class Honours in Physics from Monash University.
Lee Sok Wan
Sok wan is responsible for investment monitoring and investment portfolio reporting.
Prior to KMP, she served BDO Malaysia for 15 years with diversified experiences in audit, receivership, liquidation, restructuring and monitoring accountant assignment across various sectors including property development, oil and gas as well as manufacturing sectors.
She is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Nurdiana Abdul Kuddus
Diana joined KMP in 2014. She has been assigned as the analyst in monitoring the portfolio companies.
Prior to KMP, she was the Event Executive at Plug & Play Technology Holdings. Diana holds a Master in Information Technology, majoring in Management from University of Technology MARA, Malaysia.
Lim Shi Yuan
Yuan is experienced in driving innovation for the nation with previous working experience in the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) and an initiative under the PENJANA program, National Technology & Innovation Sandbox (NTIS).
He himself was also an entrepreneur by starting a company that helps foreign technology startups to expand into Malaysia in Business Development form
Yuan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Bioscience from Monash University, Malaysia.

Mohamad Nor Aidil Puzi
Aidil began his career in the Financing division at IBM, focusing on accounting processes and automation. He then joined Crowdo Malaysia, where he contributed to deal flow management and the due diligence process for SMEs looking to raise funds via equity crowdfunding.
Aidil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and has completed his CPA Australia papers
